- Step 3: Track your application process
- Step 4: Notifications
Step 1: Submit an application
Step 2: Schedule a campus visit
Campus Visits are available Monday-Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. This will allow parents and students to see classes in session, meet faculty, and tour the campus. We believe that visiting campus is one of the best ways to get a "feel" for the school. If the above timeframe does not work with your schedule, please contact the Admission Office to discuss alternate options.
Step 3: Track your application process
We use Veracross, an online system that allows you to stay informed on various items we require during the admission process. You will be able to view which items we have received for your child’s application and which are yet to arrive in our office.
NOTE: Items marked with a check mark are those that have been received and processed by the school; others remain outstanding.
Step 4: Notifications
Canterbury operates on rolling admission therefore, completed admissions files are reviewed by the Admissions Committee throughout the year. Student acceptances will be sent as early as possible followed by formal enrollment contracts in the early Spring. The Admission Committee evaluates each applicant on the basis of overall academic potential; developmental readiness; social, emotional and physical maturity; and ability to contribute positively to the school. All acceptances are contingent upon the student's satisfactory completion of the current school term.
We look forward to working with you and your family as you make this important decision for your student!

International Students
Canterbury School of Florida has been a home away from home for many international students. We welcome the interest of international students, and encourage students whose families may be moving to the Tampa Bay area to seek admission.
All international applicants must have a good command of the English language and must be no older than eighteen years and nine months by September of their senior year. Non-immigrant students must have student visas issued by their embassies and Canterbury will then issue the I-20 form to the family in the country of origin.
For international students to matriculate into the American university system, it is recommended that international students attend Canterbury School of Florida for their junior and senior years. This two-year period provides our College Guidance Director with a better understanding of the student's knowledge, skills, abilities and habits, and establishes a more personal relationship with the student.
