Why Canterbury

Canterbury School of Florida educates and nurtures the whole child in mind, body, and spirit in preparation for college and an honorable life as a responsible steward of our world. Our community guides students to be adventurous thinkers, courageous leaders, and compassionate citizens. We serve students in grades Pre-K3 through 12, emphasizing academics, character education, community, and spirituality in the Episcopal tradition.

With Us, It's Personal

There is no “one size fits all” curriculum at Canterbury - our faculty and staff get to know each student as an individual, helping them learn and grow based on their unique personality, strengths, and needs. Students have the opportunity to experience much more than academics — competitive sports, visual and performing arts, marine studies — to help them become well-rounded individuals.

"The teachers and staff are what make Canterbury such a wonderful environment for our boys. Having participated in the Parents Association board I can attest to the level of commitment and dedication demonstrated at every level. We have been very impressed and happy with our decision to have our boys attend Canterbury."

"As soon as we walked onto the Canterbury campus for the first time, we felt like we had come home and were apart of a family. We were impressed by Canterbury's exceptional academics, small class sizes, character education curriculum, and unique learning opportunities for our children which were not offered at other private schools."
