We are pleased to announce that the Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA) has named Canterbury as the Cary McDonald Athletic Program of the Year in the 2A classification! We’re so proud of our coaches and students who made this recognition possible. 

“We’ve always been proud of our athletics offerings, and this award just cements the hard work of our coaches, student-athletes, and families,” said Matt Thompson, Canterbury’s Athletic Director, “we’re looking forward to another great year for all of our teams, and more recognitions to come!” 

The award recognizes the top athletic programs in each classification with two criteria used to select the winner: Whole School Membership and the athletic program’s finish in the FHSAA Floyd E. Lay Sunshine Cup All Sports Award.
