A: Each child is accepted for who s(he) is. We don’t try to force a square into a triangle.

A: We overestimate what we can accomplish in one year; we underestimate what we can accomplish in five.

A: As we have already seen in the newer curriculums, we are returning to teaching through story. Better yet, the stories underscore the pluralism of America.

A: Silly question - books!

A: A very good memory.

A: Billy Jean King; Jimmy Carter; my parents because of their work ethic and kindness.
