Aftercare Information and Sign Up

For the safety of our students and convenience of our parents, Canterbury offers aftercare for both our Hough Campus Early Childhood and Lower School and our Knowlton Campus Middle School. No aftercare is provided on early dismissal days or when school is not in session. Parents are notified in advance if aftercare will not be available on a given day.

Hough Campus

Aftercare is offered until 5:30 p.m. Charges begin at 3:20 p.m. For safety reasons, space is limited to students on an Annual or Monthly plan. There is no space for drop ins; families in need of emergency aftercare must contact Claudine Cieutat, Head of Hough Campus, for approval and to see if space is available. Students not on a plan who have not been picked up by the end of carline will stay with a teacher or administrator and be charged $3/min.

Middle School

Aftercare is offered until 5:30 p.m. Charges begin at 3:45 p.m. Students not picked up at dismissal or at the end of a scheduled after-school activity (e.g. theater, athletics) will be sent to aftercare. If a student is not signed up for an annual, monthly, or daily plan, they will be charged at the default rate of $12 per hour, prorated per minute.

Rates and Billing Information

Annual: $2850 | Monthly: $325/month | Daily: $30/day (MS Only) | Drop In: $15/hour, prorated per minute (MS Only)

Sibling Discount: For the annual and monthly plans, a 10% plan discount is offered for siblings after the first child.

Late Fees: $3/minute after 5:30 p.m.

Monthly, daily, and drop in hourly (default) plans will be billed on the first of the month for usage the previous month. All plans require a 30-day notice for cancellation or change. The Annual plan must be selected by August 15; the plan fee will be charged on September 3. There are no refunds or prorations for the annual plan.

 

Procare Connect

Canterbury uses Procare Connect for aftercare tracking and billing. Login information will be sent to new families before the start of school. Parents or authorized pick up persons will need to sign the student out using a QR or PIN code. 

Note: Students who are not signed out upon pick up may be charged the maximum amount for the day. Student accounts with unpaid balances over 30 days may be suspended from aftercare services and incur a $3/minute charge immediately upon check-in while on suspension.
