Tuition and Fees
For most families, investing in an independent school education requires careful financial planning. As you will learn through the admission process, families find great value in the Canterbury community and experience, as well as in the ways we educate our students and prepare them for the future.

What separates Canterbury from other schools in the area?
In an independent survey current parents said that the top four aspects that separate Canterbury from other schools in the area are:
- Character Education
- Marine Studies Program
- College Guidance Program
- Leadership Development
After receiving years of education in our Marine Studies program, Canterbury alumnus Preston Buchanan ('14)--who has since graduated from Emory University--won FIRST PLACE in the Student Film category at the Blue Ocean International Film Festival for his film about the plague of the lionfish in the Atlantic, Caribbean, and Gulf.
He produced his film as a senior at Canterbury, using video footage from Marine Studies trips with our scuba Venture Crew 210. Preston flew to Monaco with current Canterbury students to receive his award at the 2015 Blue Ocean Film Festival. Read more about this trip. Watch Preston's documentary.
